This A4 carbonless copy paper – First Copy (CB) is designed for multi-part document systems where clean, accurate and reliable copy transfer is essential. It enables handwritten or printed information to be transferred to subsequent copies without the use of traditional carbon paper.

Carbonless Copy System – Technical Structure

Carbonless copy paper works through a micro-encapsulated coating system that transfers pressure-based writing or printing to the next sheet. Each copy type has a defined role within the document set:

• First Copy – CB (Coated Back): Transfers information to the next copy
• Middle Copies – CFB (Coated Front & Back): Receives and transfers information
• Last Copy – CF (Coated Front): Receives information only

This product is the First Copy (CB) and must always be used as the top sheet in a multi-part document system.
